Who doesn’t love Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax from Doctor Who? I know I do. Hence I went and drew ‘em.
Lately I’ve been making my way through the 80s in Fantagraphics’ ongoing (and lovely) collections of of Peanuts strips. During this period, Snoopy’s brother, Spike, makes quite a lot of appearances, so I ended up drawing him. In hindsight, I didn’t make him quite skinny enough…but still a fun one to draw!
Considering that Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all-time favorite movies, it’s kind of shocking that I’ve done so little fan art in recent years. After recently watching the new Blu-ray edition, I decided it was indeed time for a little fan art, and I chose Jessica for this go-round!
The slightly weird pose was inspired by a photo in a sales catalog.
I don’t care what anyone says, making fun of T-Rex’s tiny arms never gets old.
Done for a “Dinosaurs” theme on The tumblr Art Challenge.
Jenn & Bueno
Occasionally I commission other artists to do their own takes on Jennifer & Bueno. Here we have Charles Holbert’s awesome take.
Another piece inspired by a theme on The tumblr Art Challenge. Here’s my contribution for Film Noir Fairy Tales: The Dame Wore Red. Enjoy!
